Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our single-origin spices and shipping.
What makes single-origin spices different from grocery store brands?
Most grocery store spices are commodities blended from many sources and sit in warehouses for years. We source directly from smallholder farmers, ensuring our spices are harvested recently, have higher essential oil content, and provide fair wages to growers.
How should I store my spices to keep them fresh?
To maintain maximum flavor and potency, store your spices in a cool, dry, and dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources like your stove. Ensure the lids are tightly sealed after every use.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship our spices globally. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination. Please note that customers are responsible for any local customs duties or taxes incurred upon arrival.
Are your products organic or non-GMO?
While not all of our partner farmers have formal organic certification due to the high costs involved, the vast majority use traditional, chemical-free farming practices. All of our spices are non-GMO and free from additives or anti-caking agents.
What is your return policy?
As we sell food products, we cannot accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or if you are unsatisfied with the quality, please contact our support team within 30 days and we will make it right with a replacement or refund.
How long do your spices stay fresh?
Whole spices generally stay fresh for 2-3 years, while ground spices are best used within 1-2 years. Because our spices are sourced from the most recent harvest, they often have a much longer shelf life than standard commercial options.
